Delete your data in the app:
The data listed below is deleted from our server right away, and the app then uses a new device ID. An internet connection is required. If an error appears, server deletion may already have completed. You can try again. Deleted data cannot be restored. Deletion also works if your device ID has been banned.
The following data stored on our server with your current device ID (shown in Settings → Device ID):
Data posted with a different device ID — from another phone, or from an earlier installation of the app — is not affected. See “If you no longer have the app” below.
| Data | When | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Ban record: the device ID, the reason, and which post led to the ban | Only if this device ID was banned for breaking our Terms of Use | Until we lift the ban |
| Server logs: IP addresses and requested URLs, excluding map tile requests | Requests the app makes to our server, other than map tiles | Deleted automatically within 30 days |
| Copies of your photos already cached on other devices | If your photo was viewed before you deleted it | Our server allows caching for 24 hours, but copies already on other devices may remain longer |
Server logs do not record your comments, door codes, email address, messages, or device ID. Deleted photos are no longer served by our server.
Ads are served by Google AdMob. We do not receive or store ad data; Google keeps it under its own policies. In your phone's settings, you can reset or delete your advertising ID on Android, or turn off tracking on iPhone — see section 8 of the Privacy Policy.
If you deleted the app or changed phones, the app may no longer have the device ID that your old posts are linked to. If you still have the old phone with the app, use Delete my data there. Otherwise, email support@1pass.dev with the restroom's name, roughly when you posted, and what you posted, and we will review your request. Because there are no accounts, we cannot always confirm that a post was yours.
Saved restrooms, recently viewed restrooms, settings, and your list of blocked users are stored only on your phone. Delete my data does not remove them; deleting the app does. Like other app data, they may also be in your phone's own backups.
How we collect, use, and keep data: Privacy Policy (section 10, Retention and deletion). Rules for posting: Terms of Use. Help: Support. Contact: Dcode · support@1pass.dev.
