Korea Toilet: Restroom Finder · Effective 2026-10-04
Short version: Reviews, photos and door codes you post are public and anonymous. No hate, harassment, sexual or violent content, spam, or photos of people or personal details. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and ban the device that posted it. Restroom information and door codes can be wrong or out of date, so check on site.
These terms apply to your use of Korea Toilet: Restroom Finder (“the app”), published by Dcode (“we”), Republic of Korea. By using the app, you agree to them. Before your first post with a comment, a photo, or a door code, the app also asks you to agree to them. How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
The app helps you find public restrooms in Korea. It shows restrooms from public data on a map and lets users rate them, write short reviews, add photos, share door codes, and vote on whether a code works. The app is free, has no accounts, and shows ads.
No hate, harassment, sexual or violent content, spam, or photos of people or personal details. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. This includes:
Do not harass other users, post automatically or in bulk, or try to get around a ban (section 5) or the daily limits.
On a review posted by someone else, tap Block user. You won't see reviews from this user on this device. You can unblock all blocked users in Settings → Blocked users. Blocking works on your device only: the other user is not notified, and ratings do not change. It applies to the author code of the reviews you blocked, so reviews the user posts later with a new device ID are not blocked.
You keep the rights you have in what you post. You give Dcode a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, copy, resize, translate, and display your posts in the app, and to let our service providers do this for us (for example, for translation). The licence ends when your post is deleted, apart from copies already cached or saved on other devices, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Restroom locations, opening hours, and facilities come from public data and can be out of date. Ratings, reviews, photos, and door codes come from other users and can be wrong, and businesses change their codes. Each building sets its own access rules, and some restrooms are for customers only; a door code in the app does not give you permission to enter. Check on site and follow the rules of each building.
The app is free and provided as is. We do not guarantee that restroom information or user posts are accurate, complete, or up to date, that a restroom will be open or accessible, or that the app will always be available. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss or damage that results from relying on this information or from content posted by other users. This does not limit liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.
We may change, suspend, or end the app or any of its features, such as reviews or door codes.
The app's design and code belong to Dcode. Restroom data comes from public data, and map data from OpenStreetMap contributors and Protomaps, under their own licences — see the app page.
We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes. If you keep using the app after a change takes effect, the updated terms apply.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes go to the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. This does not take away protections that the consumer laws of your country give you and that cannot be waived by agreement.
