I parked but didn't get a notification

Automatic detection can take a few minutes for iOS to confirm you've parked (ended a visit), and location accuracy may be low in underground garages. Motion-based detection works underground. If no notification arrives, you can record it manually with "Enter parking location" on the main screen.

What permissions does automatic detection need?

• Notifications: prompt to enter location when parking is detected
• Motion & Fitness: detect exiting the vehicle (walking transition) — works underground
• Location "Always": detect parking even when the app is closed
• Bluetooth (optional): use a vehicle accessory disconnect as a secondary signal

Force-quitting the app may stop background detection. Opening the app once re-enables it.

Can I add photos and notes to a parking spot?

Yes. You can attach up to 3 photos and a note per parking record. Photos are stored only on your device.

How do I add the widget?

Long-press the home screen, add a widget, and choose CarTag to see your last parking location right on the home or lock screen.

Is Tesla integration required?

No, it's optional. All recording features work without it. If connected, you can check battery status and use horn/flash to find your car more easily.

How do I delete a parking record?

Swipe the parking card to the left to delete that record. Deleting the app removes all data.
