Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the Unmask mobile application (the "Service") provided by Dcode (the "Company") and set forth the rights, obligations, responsibilities, and other necessary matters between the Company and users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

1. "Service" means the Unmask mobile application for film negative scanning and color correction provided by the Company.
2. "User" means a person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
3. "Member" means a user who has entered into a use agreement with the Company and has been assigned an ID.
4. "Credits" means virtual payment units used within the Service for film negative conversion.
5. "Subscription" means a paid service that provides credits on a recurring basis.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

1. These Terms shall become effective for all users who wish to use the Service.
2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate relevant laws, and the amended Terms shall be announced through in-app notifications.
3. Amended Terms shall become effective 7 days after the announcement.
4. If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, they may discontinue use of the Service and withdraw.

Article 4 (Membership Registration)

1. Users apply for membership by filling out the registration form set by the Company and expressing their intention to agree to these Terms.
2. The Company may refuse membership registration in the following cases:
   • When using another person's name
   • When providing false information
   • When under 14 years of age
   • When registration would significantly hinder the Company's technical operations
3. Membership registration is available through third-party authentication services such as Apple ID and Google Account.

Article 5 (Provision of Service)

1. The Company provides the following services:
   • Film negative scanning function
   • AI-based automatic color correction
   • Manual image editing function
   • Image saving and sharing function
   • Credit purchase and subscription services
2. The Service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle.
3. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for system maintenance, repair, replacement, etc., and will notify users in advance.

Article 6 (Paid Services)

1. Credit and subscription services are provided for a fee.
2. Each negative conversion requires 1 credit.
3. Credit pack and subscription prices follow the prices specified within the Service.
4. Payments are processed through the in-app purchase systems of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
5. Subscription services automatically renew until canceled.
6. Refund policies follow the refund policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Article 7 (User Obligations)

1. Users shall not engage in the following acts:
   • Misappropriation of others' information
   • Alteration of information posted by the Company
   • Transmission or posting of information other than that designated by the Company (such as computer programs)
   • Infringement of intellectual property rights such as copyrights of the Company and third parties
   • Acts that damage the reputation of the Company and third parties or interfere with their business
   • Disclosure or posting of obscene or violent messages, images, audio, or other information contrary to public order and morals

Article 8 (Copyright)

1. Copyright of images uploaded or processed by users belongs to the users.
2. Copyright of AI algorithms, UI/UX design, etc. provided within the Service belongs to the Company.
3. Users may freely use, save, and share images generated through the Service.

Article 9 (Privacy Protection)

1. The Company establishes and complies with a Privacy Policy to protect users' personal information.
2. The Privacy Policy is announced separately.
3. All image processing is performed locally on the device, and images are not uploaded to servers unless explicitly chosen by the user.

Article 10 (Account Deletion)

1. Users may request account deletion at any time through the settings menu within the Service.
2. Upon account deletion, the following information will be permanently deleted:
   • Account information (email, password)
   • Purchase history (after legal retention period)
   • Subscription status
3. Images stored on the device must be deleted separately.
4. For accounts registered through Apple Sign In, tokens will be automatically revoked.

Article 11 (Service Use Restrictions)

1. The Company may restrict or suspend Service use if a user violates these Terms or interferes with normal Service operations.
2. The Company will notify users in advance before restricting use, and users may object to such restrictions.

Article 12 (Disclaimer)

1. The Company is exempt from liability when unable to provide the Service due to natural disasters, war, or other force majeure events.
2. The Company is not responsible for Service disruptions caused by user negligence.
3. The Company is not responsible for users' failure to obtain expected profits through Service use.
4. The Company has no obligation to intervene in disputes between users or between users and third parties through the Service, nor is it liable for damages arising therefrom.

Article 13 (Dispute Resolution)

1. These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. If a dispute arises between the Company and a user regarding Service use, both parties shall make good faith efforts to resolve it through consultation.
3. If consultation fails, jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with the Civil Procedure Act.

These Terms shall be effective from February 8, 2026.
