Short version: Dcode does not directly collect or hold any personal data through the app. There are no accounts and no analytics. If you allow location access, your location is used on your device only to find nearby bus stops and to show where you are on the in-app map — it is never sent to us and never used for ads. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, which processes your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and ad interaction data to deliver them; on iPhone, ads are personalised only if you allow tracking (and, in the EEA and the UK, also give ad consent). Dcode does not directly collect or hold personal data through the app. The app has no sign-up or login, does not ask for your name, email, or phone number, and does not use analytics or crash-reporting services. Google AdMob processes your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and ad interaction data to serve ads (section 5). Your location, if you allow it, stays on your device (section 6).

These are never transmitted to us or anyone else. Deleting the app deletes them.
All stop, route and schedule data, and the map of Seoul (map tiles and place markers), are bundled inside the app and work offline. Map tiles and place markers are read from the app itself, never downloaded. The only network requests the app makes are for ads and, in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the ad consent form (section 5).
If you tap Open in Maps or Share, the app hands the selected bus stop's name and coordinates to the maps or sharing app you choose. It does not include your own location.
The app shows banner ads supplied by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, Google may process technical data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, and general ad interaction data. We do not receive this data.
The app may ask you for two kinds of authorization, and works without either:
It does not send notifications and does not access your contacts, camera, or photos.
The app is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children. Dcode does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 (or the applicable age in your country); ad data is processed by Google as described in section 5.
Dcode does not directly collect or hold personal data about you through the app, so there is nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. Ad data (advertising identifier, IP address, ad interaction data) is processed by Google AdMob, not by Dcode. If you email us, we keep your message only to reply. You can withdraw or change ad consent in the app (Settings → Ad privacy options), turn off tracking in iOS Settings, reset or delete the advertising ID in Android Settings, and turn off location access in your phone's settings. For data processed by Google, see Google's Privacy Policy. For any other request, contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
We will post any changes on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
